| I love drawing and especially with charcoal on Fabriano Exportazione paper. From the outset the odds are stacked against the possibility of making a precise and detailed drawing on such textured paper, yet it is possible to create images where the slightest erasure or the thinnest charcoal mark stands out against the general mass of the drawing. It is this, I suppose, that most excites me about drawing... being both precise and ambiguous at the same time. |
