| The nine self portraits '19/2/93' to '9/7/93' displayed here chronologically are each the product of one (occasionally two) days work. The facial expressions were not forced, nor did I consciously freeze them whilst I painted. They portray my general feelings that day and were made in a period when I was having to change and come to terms with things. |
