O'er Vales and Hills
The original oil painting was made for the exhibition 'Daffodils' - Artist's reflections on Wordsworth's poem. The exhibition, which was curated in 2005 by Charles Mitchell for Cumbria Institute of the Arts, first toured Cumbria before travelling to Bourne Hall in Surrey and Aartworks, Grayton, South Africa.
Jarrod and the Bastle House
Unlike all my other reproductions on this site, 'Jarrod and the Bastle House' is not made as an archival quality inkjet print. This print was made in the 1980's using commercial lithography and has been printed onto a lighter weight paper than the other images. However, it's a successful picture and the print looks good to me!
Swaledale
Raven
Yoke
'Yoke' depicts two rams tethered together. This practice was carried out more commonly by farmers in the nineteenth century both to stop the tups from charging at each other and to regulate lambing.
