Estuary

Between 2001 and 2003 I made a great many small oil paintings in response to the sands and shoreline below the cliffs at Cromer, Norfolk. This a reproduction of one of the larger paintings, 'Estuary' (101 x 101 mm), in the series.

O'er Vales and Hills

The original oil painting was made for the exhibition 'Daffodils' - Artist's reflections on Wordsworth's poem. The exhibition, which was curated in 2005 by Charles Mitchell for Cumbria Institute of the Arts, first toured Cumbria before travelling to Bourne Hall in Surrey and Aartworks, Grayton, South Africa.

Yoke

'Yoke' depicts two rams tethered together. This practice was carried out more commonly by farmers in the nineteenth century both to stop the tups from charging at each other and to regulate lambing.
