Customer Assurance

I have taken great care to ensure that the scanned images you see on the Website are as near to being true representations of the colours and tones of the original artwork as possible. However, the technology is not capable of showing an exact representation of the work and some of the subtleties of the images and the importance of scale - particularly with the black and white prints, may not be shown to full advantage.

I am confident though, that you will be entirely satisfied with all the original work.

In the 1980's when I made the colour 'Farming' lithographs I believed that the inks were lightfast. Over time some of the inks are proving to be fugitive and, after a lot of exposure to light, some colours are fading. I recommend that you do as I now do and frame my colour lithographs from that period with UV glass. This will keep out almost all ultra violet light and should resolve the problem.

It is important to remember that all prints, both Original Prints and Reproductions are made on paper which can easily absorb moisture from the air and cockle. Please keep them in fairly dry conditions and, above all, away from a humid atmosphere.

If you have any difficulties with the Website I should like to hear from you so that I can improve my service. Please email me at [email protected] and I will give careful consideration to your comments.
