Print North at Saul Hay Gallery is showcasing eighteen renowned artists, all of whom are from or work in the North of England, and have been selected for their innovative use of both traditional and contemporary printmaking techniques.

Summer Exhibition which runs from 24 June until 24 September
My large oil painting study for 'Hotel du Monde' (1070 x 1470 mm) will be showing in The New Light Art Prize Exhibition. I hope this painting successfully carries my feelings of wonder at the lives of others - the depiction of imagined private lives with fleeting and indistinct events in small simple rooms . . . all making for exciting visual arenas.
The Lake Artists Society Summer Exhibition 2023 will be held, as usual, at Grasmere Village Hall, Cumbria and run from July 28th until September 6th

The Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize is the UK's most celebrated drawing exhibition and I'm delighted to say that, this year, it includes my charcoal on linen 'Siding' (vi) - 101 x 76cm
Great Print is Rheged's annual celebration of the traditional and modern art of printmaking. This year's exhibition features 58 printmakers (including 20 first-time exhibitors) with around 400 framed hand-pulled prints. I have about twenty lithographs on show which include these illustrated here:
